Australia

Definitely the smallest continent but don’t judge it for that.  Australia or Oceania includes thousands of tiny islands in the Central and South Pacific. It also includes Papua New Guinea and New Zealand.  This area is home to lush rain forests on Papua New Guinea and dry arid deserts in the Australian outback.  It also offers tropical beaches in Micronesia to high glacier capped mountains in New Zealand.  Most cities are found close to the coasts and these offer great weekend or weeklong city stays. Enjoy seeing wildlife found no other place in the world such as the Koala, Quokka and the Echidna.  Plus, there is the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef.  Home to thousands of species of fish, marine mammals and corals.  Yes, this continent is small but mighty and has something for everyone.
